Hi, I’m Carrie Schmitt.
I’ve been painting as a full-time artist for over a decade and have taught thousands of women in my workshops and online classes.
I’m ready to share everything I have learned with you from painting lessons to business tips to help you on your unique journey.

Here’s a message from Sherri:
I began drawing and painting in 2021 at the age of 52! I want you to know that you really can start at any age. I’ve seen that through focus, practice and trust we can live the creative life that we were meant to live. I’ve gone on to sell over 100 paintings since I began.
I have been a member of Flower Painting Club since the beginning and the friendships I have built have been unbelievable. I’m thrilled to be a teacher inside the membership! My hope is that I can inspire you to find your creative voice through the powerful practice of drawing and working in sketchbooks.

Frequently asked questions
When will the calls be?
We have weekly live events on Zoom to encourage members to schedule time for art-making. Days and times vary from month to month to take into account different time zones.
All live events are recorded for those who cannot attend. These can be watched at your convenience and are available in our vast library of content.
If I’m a beginner artist, is this a good fit for me?
Yes! We offer a range of art video lessons from basic to more advanced. No matter what your level of experience, you will learn what you are ready to absorb from each video lesson.
I teach how to paint intuitively, which requires no prior experience. You can start where you are and dive in!
Additionally, this is so much than just learning how to paint. It is about developing a loving relationship with Creativity that will transform your creative process.
Having a creative community of women who support you, having accountability and scheduled time to devote to painting, and being surrounded by creative conversations will keep you motivated to paint and speed up your learning curve at a much faster rater than doing this alone.
As a beginner, you can benefit from the group in many ways, including finding women who are just beginning their creative journey to those further along who can share a wealth of knowledge in all areas of art. This again will save you time, and you can benefit from this shared collective wisdom.
If I am an experienced artist, is this a good fit for me?
If you are an experienced artist looking to step out of your comfort zone and explore new subject matter, materials, and a way to paint more intuitively and expressively, then this club is for you.
Painting intuitively is a never-ending exploration that we can always deepen. I believe there is no end to the levels of surrender that we can experience in the creative process.
This space encourages us to deepen our relationship with Creativity in ways that expand our understanding of how Creativity works and the gifts it offers us. We find these gifts together as we share our art and experiences.
Additionally, we have a wide range of expertise in our club with many experienced artists who offer us a wealth of information from art techniques, tips, supply recommendations, and business savvy as well.
How do I access the membership site?
Once you sign up, you will receive an email with login instructions. If you do not receive an email, please check your Spam folder. You will be directed to create a login and password.
Do I offer 1:1 mentoring?
I do not offer this. I offer something even better that costs less. Instead of just my experience, you can benefit from the experiences of many women in Flower Painting Club. This is ideal as we all bring a wealth of different knowledge to share.
What happens when I sign up?
Once you join the membership, you will have access to 2 plus years of content in our vast library of resources, which includes painting lessons, guest interviews, paint parties, Q and As, and more.
You are also encouraged to join our private Facebook group and introduce yourself.
I highly recommend attending a live event to introduce yourself as well.
What if I try it out, and it’s not for me?
You can sign up for one month for only $35, and see how you like it. Quit at any time.
